In July 2006, the local Munich/Schwabing chapter of the German Green Party went on an excursion within the Bavarian administrative region of Oberbayern (Upper Bavaria). The excursionists visited the Glentleiten Open Air Museum, took a swim in Lake Kochel (Kochelsee), and concluded the event in the Kloster Bräustüberl beer garden in Benediktbeuren.
In October 2005, the German Green Party held its annual general assembly, this time in Oldenburg in northern Germany. The conference debated the outcome of the German national elections. In the night, after the conference ended, the delegates partied to celebrate.
In mid-August 2004, I went on a 3-day trip to Berlin for the first time, where I viewed a lot of prominent, historic, and otherwise interesting places like the remains of The Wall, Pariser Platz (Paris Square), Brandenburger Tor (Brandenburg Gate), the Reichstag, the metro and railway stations, and the Berlin public life.
